My Work
Why I’m Here
I guide individuals, couples, and groups through challenging seasons—whether addiction recovery, life transitions, grief, or emotional healing. I’m drawn to this work because I’ve witnessed how transformative it is when people feel seen, understood, and empowered to step into their next chapter.
How I Work
My counseling approach blends evidence-based techniques with relational, compassionate care. Key modalities include:
- Person-Centered Therapy: maintaining a stance of empathy, unconditional positive regard, and respect for each client’s self-direction
- Trauma-Informed & Strengths-Based Care: recognizing the impact of trauma and centering client strengths, resilience, and autonomy
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): identifying unhelpful thoughts and patterns, and cultivating healthier alternatives
- Motivational Interviewing (MI): supporting readiness for change and collaborative goal-setting
I also integrate mindfulness, somatic awareness, and body-centered tools where appropriate, to help clients feel safe, grounded, and more embodied in their healing process.
I’m especially passionate about group work—facilitating connection, peer support, shared growth, and the realization that no one is alone in the journey.
